Staying Active

When it comes to working out, there is no a strict routine that I follow. I strongly believe that a toned and slim body is primarily built in the kitchen and what I eat plays fundamental role to how my body looks. I eat a lot of eggs, avocados, nuts, shrimps, fish and generally plenty of vegetables and fruits. I also try to remember to drink enough water (ideally 2L ) throughout the day and if I don't, I simply don't feel so great.

It is not too complicated, but it takes a lot of motivation to stick to the plan and avoid snacking on unhealthy, carb-loaded, beautifully packed junk food. For me personally, the best motivation comes from knowledge and awareness. I would strongly recommend reading about what is put into our food... The preservatives, artificials, taste and colour enhancers and so on. There are many TV programs that thoroughly explain what is smartly smuggled into our favourite products. Also I would suggest smart food replacements, like eating sweet potatoes rather than ordinary potatoes, whole meal pasta and bread rather than white toasted bread etc. (use your imagination here) I would also try to fill the plate mainly with vegetables and meat over antyhing else.

Finally, let's talk about working out. Again, I wouldn't go to crazy, I'm not a body builder and as far as I know I am not competing in any National Fitness Contest :) I try to take it easy and enjoy it. Fitness is not a FORM OF PUNISHMENT for eating that chocolate cake in the afternoon, it's a form of spending free time; a form of relaxation.

If you are a newbe, first of all, establish as whether you like to working out in a group or alone, as whether you prefer the comfort of own home with choice of your own music or you are motivated by others. Then, find out what form of exercise works for you best; long walks, running, fitness, cycling, tennis, swimming, golfing, jiu-jitsu, horseriding, cleaning, lifting etc. You are your own BOSS and you choose. If you want it to be a long-term commitment to a sport make sure you like it, otherwise it won't last. You need to clearly see the benefits and gain satisfaction from it. If you really do not have a clue how to start, I would recommend booking an appointment with a personal trainer who can direct you.

I simly try to stay as active as possible and I work out three times a week, I like swimming, fitness programmes and jogging/walking. I also like sport games, but unfortunately these don't happen too often. The areas I am mainly foused on are my stomch, my legs and my bum. I try to keep my body toned and slim but feminine at the same time.

Ultimately it all depends on your goals and what you are trying to achieve, DIET, DYSCYPLINE AND POSITIVE MINDSET are essential. As long as you are enjoying what you are doing, you are on the right path !
