Influencer marketing - the power of micro influencers

Not so long ago, influencer marketing was mainly associated with bikini-clad models holding up the latest teeth whitening or skin bronzing products. The content was very repetetive, cringe and didn't mean a lot, hence didn't genereate value. This has improved and  is about to totally change now...

Uprising of the industry.

At the very begining, influencer campaigns consisted of a single influencer working closely with a brand, usually focusing on advertising single products. The Kardashians and other celebrities owned majority of the market.
By 2016, most of brands started to experiment with multiple mid-siezed influencers at one time. Marketers representing brands would send  samples to influencers with small but engaged audiences and benefit  of their early social media foundations.
Nowadays technolody allows brands to collaborate with over 100 mocro inluencers  at the same time without needing to have a single conversation with any of them.

In 2018 this trend  will continue to growth, because brands shifted their focus form popularity to engagement . In other words, facilitating campaigns with multi micro inlenfluencers with smaller but more focused audiences became more powerful and effective rather that campaigns with single more popular influencers.
The smaller an influencer audience, the more powerful and focused it is. Those influecers with 3,000 to 100,00 followers boast higher engagement rates and trust than their celebrity fellowmates, which is exactly what brands want.

In consequence, popularity on social media lost its importance in eyes of brands. With the help of technology, brands can access million of eyeballs through micro influencer channels in relatively short time.
Summarising, stronger more powerful campaigns are created when working with multiple micro influencers. Daniel Wellington is a perfect example, I am pretty sure that many of you noticed that the brand works with so many influencers at the same time, boosting their sales trough the roof.

Power of being authentic rather than being perfect.

The delivery  of an authentic message by a trusted influencer is a key objective when seeking a collaboration. In that event, the quality of the content influencers produce became simlpy more beneficial and pawerful that audience reach, especially when thinking of a long term brand recognision.

Creativity has never been so much in demend. Be interesting and use the technotogy to embrace your creativity....

To be totally on it, engage with your audience through insta stories, open up and be yourself, be authentic. The era of ""efforttless"" photos with no message is over. People prefer to engaged to more natural, real and not always perfect influencers who have something valuable to say.

Trust is marketing

We all know  that a recommendation form a trusted person is far more powerfull that a message from a brand itself.  The core of branding and marketing is based around storytelling. Hence not only your followers need to trust you but also brands. Influencer marketing  takes the story telling out of brand hands and places it  where it should be, with your customers. When a food influencer recommends their favourite wine and tells you when and what to drink it with, it sticks. Content creators turned into creative personal recommendations, recommendations to be remembered.

The traditional and authentic word of mouth is te most desirable by marketers since the invention of advertising. And now becoming more and more accesible through social media influencers.

If you are thinking of becoming an influencer, now is the time.

Influencer marketing-sila mirko-influencerow.

Powstanie i rozwoj branzy.

W 2016, wiekszosc marek zaczelo eksperymentowac w wieloma sredniej wielkosci influencerami.

Uzywajac innego przykladu, kampanie prowadzone z wieloma sredniej wielkosci influencerami, z mniejszymi lecz bardziej sprecowanymi grupami odbiorcami sa bardziej efektowne niz kampanie z pojedynczym bardziej polularnym influencerem.

Podsumowujac, bardziej sprecyzowane o wiekszym zasiegu kampanie reklamowe sa tworzone poprzez wspolprace w wieloma micro influenceremi.

Zaufanie to Marketing

Bodycon Dress instead of Chunky Oversized Sweater

We had our first snow in the UK today, which is super exciting news, let's hope we'll have a white Christmas this year. I have created a little post and the pictures have been taken few days, if not weeks ago...  With my type of figure, most winter attire, especially oversized sweaters just don't work... :( the solution to satying warm, feeling comfortable, fashionable and sexy are knitted bodycon dresses, which I love wearing during colder days. This dress is from a French store  MORGAN DE TOI, it's sold out online but I found other online stores which still sell them. I will add a link below.

One thousand and one nights adventure in Marrakesh

It’s a 3 hour flight from London Luton Airport to picturesque Marrakesh. We had never been to Africa before and we didn’t know what to expect, hence there were many doubts and hesitations before we took the flight.
As soon as we arrived we were exploited by a taxi driver who charged us £30 for a 15 minute drive from the airport to Medina where our riad was located.

The streets of Medina resemble a maze or a labyrinth and they are bordered by a wall. GPS does not pick up all the streets which look very similar to each other, but hey isn’t that part of the adventure? Marrakesh is not a typical luxury destination that Europeans are used to. It’s wild and raw, which personally won me over. The streets of Medina are always busy, loud and colourful.  There are also controversial aspects to it, such as pieces of meat, including a cow’s head, hanging from shop ceilings. Be prepared for lots of flies and motorbike fumes.

Things to do.

Marrakesh Medina – Souk(market).
This is located in the centre of the old town. It is surrounded by a wall which separates this unique place from the rest of Marrakesh. It is a maze of traditional houses called riads. It is always busy and you can find almost everything that you associate with Marrakesh, such as spices, carpets, lamps and a great variety of hand crafted accessories. You will also find many restaurants with panoramic views of the city. My favourites are Cafe Arab and Nomad

Le Jardin Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
These two attractions are located next to each other.  Le Jardin Majorelle is a botanic garden created by French orientalist artists. You will find fine exotic plants, singing birds and many water features which help to create a unique atmosphere for you to experience.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum is dedicated to the work of the legendary designer. The building itself captures the essence of Moroccan style with contemporary influences. It is absolute genius. Go inside and you will find paintings, designs and original sketches of famous fashion items. There is also a bookshopa restaurant and a small auditorium.

Ben Youssef Mardassa.
This is an historical Arabic school where you can visit classrooms and the main hall. This is one of the top attractions in Marrakesh.

Le Jardin Secret
Modern garden located in the center of Medina, 5 min walk from  Ben Youssef Mardassa and Museum of Herritage. There is a contemporary restuarant where you can try  Mint tea, known as "Morrocan Whiskey".

A night in the desert.
This is definitely an adventure that you ought to experience. First of all you will be driven through the Atlas Mountains, over 2000 metres above sea level. It will feel like a 3 hour bungee jump because you will be on the edge of mountains and all that you will be able to see will be the precipice. It’s absolutely beautiful. However, if you are scared of heights you will need to seriously consider your fears.  When you arrive at your destination you will be able to ride on a camel and that will be one hell of a ride. Camels are harmless and so cute, but be aware that they like to spit! If you visit the desert make sure that you wear thick clothes as the temperature drops to zero degrees.

Casablanca
It’s a 3 hour train journey from Morocco to Casablanca. Right on the coast there you can find the popular Hassan II Mosque, beautiful beach, restaurans ans shisha bars.

Useful tips

Take a copy of your passport. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
You can only exchange currency in Morocco due to their law.
Be aware of street gangs who offer to guide you to places and then demand money from you.
Always barter, prices often start at 300% above actual value.
Look out for motorbikes, there are no apparent traffic rules, especially in Medina.
Morocco was a French colony so many locals speak French.
